From a Sinking $1 Boat to a $1 Billion Floating City: MrBeast Tours Yachts at Every Price

Overview

MrBeast (Jimmy) and his regular crew, Chris, Chandler, Karl, Nolan, and Tareq, climb a ladder of boats from a $1 yacht to what the video calls a $1 billion "super yacht." The question running through it is simple: what does each jump in price actually buy? At each step Jimmy and his friends compare the new boat with the last one, looking at headroom, seat comfort, crew, and amenities, until the final ship is so large that the comparison stops making sense.

The $1 Yacht: Why It Was So Cheap

The first boat cost one dollar. When Jimmy asks the seller why it was so cheap, the seller says storage costs "just kept racking up" to about $18,000 a year, so it was cheaper to give the boat away than to keep it.

Once the group is on the water, the reason for the price becomes clear. Someone notices the floor moving in a way it shouldn't, and the boat starts sinking almost as soon as it is launched. The crew jumps off while Jimmy jokes about losing the dollar he paid.

The $1 Million Yacht: Smaller Than Expected

The $1 million yacht was a letdown for Jimmy, who says more than once that it was smaller than expected. It has a surprisingly large living room, a lower deck with a master bedroom, a second bedroom too low for Jimmy to stand in, and double beds meant for children. The friends mess around at the wheel, joking about needing the coast guard. On another boat, some people recognize Jimmy and point out that he has seen their channel. The group then moves on.

The $10 Million Yacht: Room to Stand Up

On the $10 million yacht, the first thing the group notices is scale. The front deck is described as "way bigger than the last one," with a much better view. Jimmy sums up the upgrade as "for $9 million more I can actually stand up" in the bedroom. Below deck are four more large bedrooms. A bidet next to the toilet puzzles Jimmy, and a friend teases that the confusion is "so American." Upstairs, Jimmy compares the seating directly with the previous boat: the $1 million yacht had hot leather seats, while these are soft. At this stage, this is the nicest boat anyone has been on.

The $25 Million Yacht: Friends, a Helipad, and Pizza by Helicopter

For the next boat, Jimmy invites a larger group of friends. It is presented as holding 150 people. Elsewhere Jimmy calls it a $25 million boat with 30 rooms. It has a living room, an office, a massage room, two dining rooms, and seven bedrooms, which the group describes as more like a mansion than a boat. Jimmy is also pleased that his head no longer hits the ceiling.

The boat has a world-class chef, but the friends still want pizza, so Jimmy stages a surprise. Standing on the helipad, he explains that Uber offers helicopter delivery, and a helicopter lands on the moving boat with pizzas. Jimmy says he is terrified of parallel parking and is amazed by the landing. The segment ends with swimming and jet skis. Tareq flips one, and someone tries to catch a pizza thrown from the deck.

The $50 Million Yacht: A Crew on Call

The $50 million yacht is described as more than 200 feet long and four stories high, with room for more than 200 people and a 20-person crew. One of the perks is a remote that summons a crew member at any time. Jimmy demonstrates it and admits he only called to show how it works. The same remote raises and lowers a TV, which Jimmy finds cool but slow.

The group splits up to explore. Jimmy says he loses track of whether he is at the middle of the boat, the end, or the start. Meanwhile, Nolan oversleeps and spends much of the day wandering around looking for everyone, a running gag through this section.

Several side events happen here. A passing boat owner moons the group, and the two boats have a playful exchange that ends with Chucky, described as the biggest and strongest of the group, getting involved. At dinner, a friend had claimed there would be lamb, others doubted it, and the video cuts to a whole roast lamb. Pete Davidson joins the dinner and mentions an upcoming show. The group also sails past its own floating billboards, which surprises Jimmy because he didn't know billboards could be put in the ocean. They hand out Feastables chocolate to nearby boats, including by drone. By evening Nolan has finally found the group, and everyone eats another dinner together.

The $300 Million Yacht: Six Floors and a Visit from Tom Brady

The next morning, the group boards what the video calls one of the world's largest yachts, worth $300 million. According to the narration, it has more than 50 crew members, nine master bedrooms, and six floors, and someone on board says it is the 69th-largest yacht in the world. Amenities include a large pool, a hot tub with a view, a gym overlooking the ocean, and a movie theater whose windows darken automatically when something is playing. The video says one table is worth $3 million, and there is a player piano. Jimmy says he wants one in his own house.

The friends scatter into the spa. One gets a haircut, Karl sits in the sauna, and Nolan gets into a hot tub with a sunburn. Downstairs, they find a room full of jet skis, and the last person to call "nose goes" gets thrown overboard.

Pretending to be billionaires over a toast, Jimmy asks whether they would rather have 300 boats worth $1 million each or one $300 million boat. One friend imagines a different boat for almost every day of the year. Another says they don't want to maintain 300 boats, and the group leans toward the single big boat.

Then Tom Brady pulls up in another boat. Jimmy introduces Brady as the number one quarterback in NFL history. They tour together, discovering that the haircut room also doubles as a dental room, and Brady calls it perhaps the nicest boat in the world. On the helipad, which Jimmy says is much closer to what he pictures on a yacht than the previous one, they play catch. Jimmy challenges Brady to knock a drone out of the sky with a football. Brady jokes that hitting it on the first try might justify coming out of retirement, and then hits it on the first throw. Brady also throws to Karl, whom Jimmy mocks as a terrible receiver. The night ends in the movie room, where the friends agree this is the best boat so far.

The $1 Billion Ship: A Floating City

Jimmy then warns that the last boat is about four times larger. He describes it as bigger than three Statues of Liberty, a "floating city" 1,200 feet wide and 17 stories high, holding almost 10,000 people and over 2,000 rooms. The difference from the earlier boats is no longer about headroom or seat comfort. Jimmy says the group had its own rooms on every other boat, but here there are more rooms than anyone could use.

According to the video, the group has the ship to themselves at first. They find water slides and a full water park with live music, and they get told off for running. There is a sports floor with mini golf and basketball. Jimmy stresses that "city" is literal: the ship has seven neighborhoods, one of which contains a carousel, shops, restaurants, arcades, and a Starbucks. A friend who goes down a slide says it feels like being teleported to another world. There is also a floor for indoor shows. In the mall, the group finds a "bionic bar" that descends from the ceiling and has robotic arms preparing drinks, which they order from the kids' menu. Jimmy asks again, "How do humans build this stuff?"

Sharing the Ship with Subscribers

Jimmy says he doesn't need a ship this big to himself, so he brings subscribers on board to share it. As a final surprise, Nolan gathers them and Jimmy announces that everyone brought on board gets a free three-night cruise. He adds that viewers who want to appear in a future video should subscribe.

The video closes with an ad for a "secret" MrBeast video that won't be uploaded to YouTube. It can only be watched by buying a Feastables product and scanning a code. Jimmy says the video cost over a million dollars to make.
