Burning Man 2012, Day 4: Greetings, Music, and a Vodka Challenge

Early in the footage, people repeatedly greet the camera with lines like "we love you" and "I love you, Japan," and the person filming thanks them. Someone adds, "so cool, stay connected with each other." The transcript suggests the filmer was recognized as a visitor from Japan and welcomed warmly.

Soon after, someone asks whether a clip can be taken. The words are partly garbled, but the answer seems to set a condition about not using their name ("not my day without my name"). Someone then insists "you have to sing," and music and applause follow. It isn't clear from the audio who sang or what was performed.

In the middle of the video, the filmer asks "where should I aim for these balls?" This appears to be a throwing game, and someone mentions that the balls are all gone and asks whether it is still open. Short remarks such as "cute" and "have a nice bunny" can also be heard, but the transcript alone doesn't reveal what they refer to.

The longest stretch of dialogue is a scene in which someone offers the filmer a drink. The host first asks whether this is on tape, then says "there's your spoon" and pours out some of what they call "premium vodka."

The instructions are specific. Block one nostril, and once you start, don't stop. Inhale "as hard and as fast as you possibly can." While the attempt is under way, the host keeps urging "keep going, keep inhaling." When the filmer seems to react to the pain, the host replies "of course it hurts" and says the trick is not minding it. After it's over, there is a burst of laughter, and the host repeats the steps for another participant: block one nostril, inhale as fast and hard as possible, and don't stop. Loud laughter follows.

In the later part, fragments such as "nice to meet you," "there's Rudy," and "peace" can be heard over continuous music and applause. The video ends with someone leading a crowd, apparently at a dance or exercise session, with the instruction "now take your hands down, down, up, down."

The recording contains no conclusion or reflection from the filmer. It is simply a record of the scenes they happened upon on the fourth day of the event.
